Project Execution job
To manage the consultants and contractors in the execution of capital projects while coordinating with clients on matters such as approvals, mobilization, and scheduling to the final process of commissioning and start-up and handover to the user department/client.
Responsibilities
Project Execution
Execute projects as per agreed timeline & budget
Coordinate activities of various stake holders ensuring timely completion of projects
Project Monitoring & Reporting
Monitors Contactors/Consultants performance in executing projects
Provide reports on timely manner
Escalate issues/risks impacting project objectives recommend corrective/preventive actions to mitigate risks
Quality Control & Assurance:
Perform inspections as per approved Inspection & test Plan
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as may be applicable & follow-up with relevant parties for timely closure of the NCRs.
Prepare & maintain an up to date log of NCRs & report on periodic basis
Contract Administration
Review of Contractors Progress Payment Applications (PPCs)
Manage activities of Contractors in accordance with agreed Contracts & escalate any non-compliance
Assess of claims/change notices from Contractors/Consultants etc.
Tender Process Management:
Manage assigned tenders based on agreed timeline
Prepare technical evaluation reports of tender
Business Development Support
Support the business development team activities in Egypt.
Carry out technical feasibility, initial costing (Capex & Opex), concept design in coordination with Company design consultants and engineering team
Assist in preparation of initial offer to client, preliminary design and the final scope of work, in coordination with the design consultant and engineering team
Qualifications
A. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and or any other relevant Engineering fields
Diploma in Project Management will be an added advantage.
B. Minimum Experience:
Atleast 12 years of project management experience in the District Cooling/Utilities or similar industry.
3 – 4 years of direct supervisory experience.
Experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects and third party contactors in the execution of projects.
